francesca tallone is a montreal-based photographer and curator. She has both exhibited in and curated shows in North America and Europe, and has been featured in Surface Magazine, ANTLER, PLAID, Lines & Shapes and Films & Grains. She has recently published a small book of photographs called “Myth Of The Flat Earth”, which will be available at Citizen Vintage for the duration of the exhibition.
For the display at Citizen Vintage, francesca will create a stark, minimal winter scene to the windows using photographs, fabric and found objects, all while keeping the warm and nostalgic feeling of the shop. With the display being various shades of white, the colors, patterns and layers of the clothing will stand out, giving the environment on the whole a rich and inviting texture.
Future projects for francesca include curating the Nuit Blanche exhibit at le Cagibi in February.
